What Is Happening?

Even before anything became final, we knew this election was going to be a very important one. On the Right, it would be to reelect our bodacious but anti-elitist plus populist Commander-in-Chief. On the Left, it would be to choose which candidate would challenge the President in an attempt to enforce a conspiratorial leftist policy on the country. We watched through the months as a thinly-veiled effort to baselessly lambaste President Trump and to narrow down the choices for the perfect standard-bearer unfolded. Biden was ultimately chosen because he was an Establishment figure, a comfort to the Democratic elite; the Vice President under Obama, a position in recent memory that appealed to the moderate, progressive, and newly registered Democrats; and because Biden was ideologically ambiguous enough that – after a crushing blow to the Republican macho, Trump – a whole slew of unexpectedly far-left policies could be unleashed.

This is why Sanders was pushed out: because he was too overtly socialist. This is why Gabbard was pushed out: because she was too moderate and likely to go per her platform, not the party’s. Biden? He’s flip-flopped so much during his campaign no one knows what exactly he stands for: he’s anti-fracking, promising to ban and phase out fracking, but also pro-fracking, emphatically claiming he won’t ban fracking;(1) he’s pro-environment, stating a very ambitious and rigorous climate policy that lends some merit to the radical GND,(2) but apparently lacking there too as Greenpeace itself gave him a D- environmental record back in 2019;(3) and he’s not going to take away your guns,(4) but…doesn’t believe in the Second Amendment?(5) That’s quite honestly the most confusing bit. What this flip-flopping and inconsistency is about, among other reasons, is for one explicit, primary purpose: to create such a broad area of interpretation for Biden’s policies, once he begins to try and enforce them every side – except the puppeteers and vigilant - will be caught off guard.

But enough with this rambling on Biden, if you read my blog you probably know all this already, and in general it is a topic for another time. The subject matter for this article is on this game-changing election’s less than satisfactory results. However, if you have remained observant, scrutinous, and unabated by the graceful reassurances of your oh-so-trustworthy mainstream media talking-heads, you know that these results are all but organic or final.(6) The election is still in play, the results are still in question, this is far from over. There has been, unequivocally, a crisis of irregularities interwoven in the results of this election. In 2016 and 2018, there were around 750,000 reject mail-in ballots recorded;(7) in 2020, there have been at least 81 million mail-in ballots, plus vastly reported inconsistencies that could have inflated the number of rejectable mail-in ballots to over one million.

This is just the tip of the iceberg regarding all the hooplah that has occurred during this election. Those figures given were just regarding probable hiccups, statistical data, and superficial analyses. It did not cover the individual, numerous, and reported irregularities that have occurred nationwide and have potentially led to ballot mistakes numbering in the six-digit range. There is truly a lot more to unpack than taking four- and two-year-old statistics and applying them to contemporary data, disregarding the postal and logistic strain a global pandemic would have on shipping and storing eighty million ballots (a figure already nearly triple the usual amount of mail-in ballots). There exist four noteworthy incidents that have occurred during this electoral extravaganza, which more than merit the skepticism and rejection of the results that President Trump and his team have expressed.

The first exhibit we have to look out occurred within the state of Wisconsin. It was not tabulation error, it was not human error, but simply and obviously meddling: the Wisconsin state electoral authority gave illegal advice to county clerks that created thousands of invalid ballots statewide.(8) Per Wisconsin Statue 6.86, absentee ballots must be signed by a witness, who is also required to list his or her address in order for the ballot to be valid. This did not happen, and the WEC actually told clerks that “clerk[s] should attempt to resolve any missing witness address information prior to Election Day if possible” based on “reliable information,” and that, “[A] witness does not need to appear to add a missing address.”(9) But this is a gross violation of Statue 6.86, which has not been and is not planned to be repealed in any capacity, and is still very much in full affect. The exact figure is unknown, but thousands of ballots are very likely to have been affected; thousands of ballots are very likely to have been wrongly counted, and are invalid as a result. The margin in Wisconsin between Trump and Biden stands at around twenty thousand votes, and a proper recount of these ballots, untold thousands of which could be invalid, could greatly change the results of the state.

The next irregularity of import that has occurred during the duration of this election started in Michigan, and likely extends across the entire country. In Antrim County, a reliably Republican county that has consistently voted for the GOP twenty points more than Democrats since 2000, a six thousand vote gain was reported for Democratic Senate candidate Gary Peters. However, this gain was discovered to be false, a mistake created by an error because of the software being used to aid tabulation in the county.(10) It was then discovered, by the Michigan GOP chairwoman – who first disclosed the error  that the software in error – Dominion Voting Systems – was used in nearly half of Michigan’s counties. In Michigan alone, a few hundred to thousand miscounted votes in half of its counties could add up to an erasing of Biden’s thirty-five thousand vote lead. However, as I said, this problem might extend across the country: in Georgia, two counties suffered a significant hiccup that required the voting deadline to be extended to 11:00 PM, the software? Dominion Voting Systems.(11) Then, there is information available that points to Dominion having a nationwide presence in over a thousand jurisdictions in the United States, responsible for tabulating the votes of over 70 million Americans.(12)

The next case of electoral malarkey that we have on record is one that I noted myself.(13) Kenosha County recorded a total of 95,713 registered voters this year.(14) Three-percent of those voters would add up to around 2,871 individuals, which is far from thirty thousand, right? Well, according to whoever is working at the Associated Press, where most people were getting their electoral data from, a three-percent increase in reported votes from Kenosha County does equal thirty thousand people, because that is exactly what was recorded. At first, Trump was leading by 22,000 votes in Kenosha County, 34,508 Trump to 22,064 Biden, and that was at 96% reporting. However, just three points later the margin closed to two thousand votes, 44,972 Trump to 42,191 Biden. Not only did thirty thousand votes suddenly manifest out of what should have been just around three thousand, but twenty thousand were reported for Biden, narrowing a five-digit margin to a mere four digits. While Trump did manage to win Kenosha County, the sudden manifestation of such a major numerical error, likely the result of some sort of error or fraudulence within the AP, and a vote count that would add up to 135% of Kenosha County’s official registered voters are all important errors and mishaps very worthy of being looked into.

The fourth and final important piece of evidence regarding electoral irregularities involves us taking a brief foray into statistical science. In statistics, there is a concept known as Benford’s law that highlights the distribution of digits in a data set, their frequency, and how to determine if that numerical data is natural. Benford’s law is very important for elections because it has repeatedly been used in detecting fraudulent activity in elections.(15) Benford’s law and its electoral security uses have become relevant in the 2020 election results, namely in Pennsylvania. In Pennsylvania, vote totals for Trump decreased 9,867 votes at 9:00 PM on November 4, and at around 9:00 AM on November 6, Biden’s votes increased 27,396 votes. Either figure is vastly inconsistent with Benford’s law, and while the statistician this data comes from – William Briggs(16) – is hesitant to apply Benford’s law fraud-catching properties to this, he doesn’t outright deny it, and one of his comments, that Biden “could not have pulled through without these two curiosities," shows that there is more than enough room to cast doubt on these "curiosities", as Mr. Briggs calls them. Renowned conservative commentator Steven Crowder was the first to note this irregularity, and his segment on analyzing the statistical discrepancy goes into better detail than I ever could.(17)

These four examples are just a few of many trends and individual examples, which as I have alluded to could add up to numerous votes nationwide that – if we actually set our minds to properly investigating them – could have major effects on this far-from-over election. From requested absentee ballots being sent to dead people in Michigan,(18) to hundreds of ballots being carelessly dumped in New Jersey even before the election started,(19)(20) there is a large and extensive network of electoral inconsistencies and irregularities that have unarguably compromised the integrity of the election in numerous places. If this does not warrant even cursory investigation, the compromization extends to the entirety of our republic, with certain actors evidently seeking to cover up or deflect worthy concerns. Whether or not Trump won, whatever the decision actual American voters made, it does not matter, but if we let errors – and perhaps even outright fraud – go unchecked because of partisan idiocy, we will lose our republic. So no matter where you are, who you are, what you are make a ruckus in the name of American freedom, in electoral integrity, and make sure this chaos does not go unnoticed.
