Restucturing the Blog!

QUICK post today, since I've announced my plans elsewhere and just want to make a formal note of what's happened here for future reference. I've decided to begin publishing most of my articles through other sites, such as the Libertarian Christian Institute and Mises.org . My comments on politics, economics, current events, etc., will mostly appear there from now on out. However, I have not gotten rid of this blog because it will now serve an important purpose: providing me a platform for articles that I can't get published elsewhere, don't want to publish elsewhere (e.g., if I want to retain full rights to it), or which I want to get out quickly, cutting out the middleman (the editing process). So, The Hot Air Machine is not going away, it's just shifting focus. It will likely become less active, but at least this means I'll be able to open up my schedule a bit more (I was acting too much like this was a full-time journalistic commitment with thousands of...

Mises' 40th Anniversary Summit: My Perspective

TO those who do not keep detailed tabs on me you might not have been aware that this past week I attended the Mises Institute’s 40 th anniversary summit . This was my first ever Mises event that I attended, and boy let me tell you that it was GREAT! Since not many people were able to attend it (thanks be to God that I of all people could) and it was full of captivating and endearing moments I’ve decided to talk about what happened and what I experienced, to share what it’s like to get involved with the Institute.           The summit was three days long, although the majority of events were concentrated in the second day. The first day began at 5:00, which was good for me since I arrived in Phoenix the day before meaning I had a day-and-a-half to myself, and it was to consist of a dinner and introductory talk by Jeff Deist, then two talks: one by Judge Andrew Napolitano and another by James Grant. Alas, we were rained on and the Jud...

The Series You HAVE TO Watch!

GOOD DAY , my dear readers! Today I wanted to post this brief article in order to promote a series of videos that I’ve followed for a few months now. It is very eye-opening and has served as a major inspiration for my understanding of deep politics, world history, the future, and all sorts of things. It is just that mind-blowing and encompassing.           This is the Third Adam documentary that has been in production since early-2020 by Spencer Smith , a Baptist minister from Kentucky. This series has three parts, Third Adam 1 , 2 , and 3 – 3 has an extended version, 3X , that runs for four hours . The several hours of overall footage contained within this series is positively unforgettable because it shows how thousands of years of history ultimately comes down to an eternal struggle between two forces: Christianity and the “Mystery” religion. I discuss this idea partially ...

Welcome to Anti-Communism Month!

GREETINGS , my fellow readers! I would like to introduce to you today a very special project of mine, one which I have spent months preparing for. I attempted this at first a year ago, but my blog wasn’t in the right place for it to succeed. Furthermore, my knowledge and abilities hadn’t developed far enough to make it impactful. This being the case, I have opted to and prepared for the formal inauguration of Anti-Communism Month to reoccur now!           Anti-Communism Month is, again, a passion project of mine that has been on the books for a while. The theme of the event is evident, it is a recognition of the evils, failures, and critiques of socialist/far-left ideology. March is the month I have chosen for this to occur because in this month five blows were dealt to radical leftism: Karl Marx died on March 14. Joseph Stalin died on March 5. The Republic of Lithuania was established on March 11, the f...

I Have Added The Subscription Option!

D uring the entire time that I have operated this blog, for the past four months, I have always operated under the impression my website had a follow option available. I firmly remember having added that towards the very beginning. I'm not sure how or why my memory failed me, but it did. That has not  been the case, and I have bought a lie for so long.      Well, water under the bridge now! After double checking I learned I was wrong, and I've added the module for following by email. This will definitely resolve the question I've had for so long, of "I wonder why I don't have any followers even though I get so many views?". Ah, what a doozy this has been!     If you regularly view my blog and had been wishing beforehand I actually did have this option, take the time to subscribe! Hopefully everything is rectified now. Even after subscribing, I would suggest and am going to promote my Twitter , too, since I am active several times a...
