What Is Happening?

E ven before anything became final, we knew this election was going to be a very important one. On the Right, it would be to reelect our bodacious but anti-elitist plus populist Commander-in-Chief. On the Left, it would be to choose which candidate would challenge the President in an attempt to enforce a conspiratorial leftist policy on the country. We watched through the months as a thinly-veiled effort to baselessly lambaste President Trump and to narrow down the choices for the perfect standard-bearer unfolded. Biden was ultimately chosen because he was an Establishment figure, a comfort to the Democratic elite; the Vice President under Obama, a position in recent memory that appealed to the moderate, progressive, and newly registered Democrats; and because Biden was ideologically ambiguous enough that – after a crushing blow to the Republican macho, Trump – a whole slew of unexpectedly far-left policies could be unleashed. ...

I Have Added The Subscription Option!

D uring the entire time that I have operated this blog, for the past four months, I have always operated under the impression my website had a follow option available. I firmly remember having added that towards the very beginning. I'm not sure how or why my memory failed me, but it did. That has not  been the case, and I have bought a lie for so long.      Well, water under the bridge now! After double checking I learned I was wrong, and I've added the module for following by email. This will definitely resolve the question I've had for so long, of "I wonder why I don't have any followers even though I get so many views?". Ah, what a doozy this has been!     If you regularly view my blog and had been wishing beforehand I actually did have this option, take the time to subscribe! Hopefully everything is rectified now. Even after subscribing, I would suggest and am going to promote my Twitter , too, since I am active several times a...

The Facts About COVID-19

A s one would expect a pandemic to be, COVID-19 has become a very big deal. Its effects have been felt by billions of people worldwide. It has manifested itself in trillions of lost dollars, thousands of lost lives, millions of lost man-hours, and much more. However, as it unfortunately came into being at the climax of the American political scene, with the 2020 presidential election, it has been contorted into this massive monster. Partisanship has distorted poor little COVID so immensely, and Americans – even if they try to look at what other countries, with much less polarization, say/do – might find everything so disorienting. Three major questions exist regarding the virus that piled up and interwoven misinformation has obscured for the common person. These questions are, “What is its nature ,” “What has the response to it been,” and, “Where did it origin ate?” Its nature, response, and origin.    ...

The Greater Threat of Leftism

T he subject and threat of political extremism is an important and old one in human civilization. If you define the concept simply as violence enacted for political reasons, then examples of this behavior go back to the late-6 th century BC tyrannicide of Hipparchus of Athens. In modern American rhetoric, the use of political extremism has been contorted by an obscenely polarized climate as an association fallacy used by political figures to shun certain blocs of the political compass. Even as an anti-leftist libertarian, I shun the use of “leftist” or “commie” to refer to any left-leaning individual, just as I detest the overuse of “neo-Nazi” by radical leftists to refer to me and ideological compatriots. Most shockingly, this whole saddening phenomenon is not even relegated to the ranks of low-level supporters and outliers! Remember in September of 2016 when Hillary Clinton, the Queen of the Democratic Party, called the entirety of President Trump’s...

The NBA's Social Justice Hypocrisy

THE article “NBA Announces Social Justice and Voting Initiatives as Games Resume”  by The Washington Post tells a tale about how the NBA, in the light of social and political turmoil nationwide, has “[provided] a platform to promote social justice” and “[pushed] for meaningful and sustainable change.” From a simple, ignorant view the tale is a positive one, a major force of American culture – the American basketball industry – is using its social capital for good. However, that is not the analysis of the article’s meaning any good observer should take. The true story is one of political manipulation to the masses that trust in the big names of basketball for benefits not as cheery as they appear to be on the surface.             First off, there is the NBA’s message of “social justice/reform”. The NBA, in the article, is given the view as basing its impetus to move towards social justice as influe...
